Teens arrested after shots fired at Arizona Walmart

Buckeye Police officials say arrests have been made in connection with a shooting that happened outside of a Walmart on May 9.

The incident, according to a police statement, happened in the area of Yuma and Watson Roads. Investigators said they responded to the scene at around 7:30 p.m. for a gunshot call, and they later learned that a group of three juveniles were fighting someone when one of the juveniles pulled out a handgun and fired it at the victim.

No one was hurt, according to police at the time, the Walmart, however, was evacuated and closed for the evening.

"A 15-year-old male was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm. A 15-year-old male and a 17-year-old male were arrested on multiple felonies including assault," read a portion of a statement released on May 15.
