Making butter with sunflower seeds it’s a great healthy alternative to peanut butter and you could make it savoury or sweet depending on your taste.
People don’t realise what’s inside store bought bird food (animal fat, etc) so I decided to make my own 100% vegan bird food!
Wild birds are an important part of the ecosystem and they provide a fundamental role as natural pest control for your growing space.
Also, it’s not always easy for the birds to find enough insects and food so it’s good to help them with a mix of fat and protein.

BIRD BOMBS INGREDIENTS:
1 x Cup coconut oil1 x Cup vegetable Suet2 x tbsp crunchy peanut butter1/2 x Cup dessicated coconut1/2 x Cup linseed1 x Cup mixed seed (I used sunflower, pumpkin, sesame) slightly crushed up1/2 x Cup chopped raisins
