Russia: NATO transfer of F-16s to Ukraine would be ‘colossal risk’ | DW News

Russia has warned the transfer of F16 fighter jets to Ukraine raises the risk of NATO getting involved in the conflict. This follows pledges from Ukraine's allies at the G7 summit in Japan to supply advanced weaponry, including the US-made aircraft to Kyiv. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has assured Washington that the warplanes would not be used to strike Russian territory.
