In 2020, Cristiano Jr. made a secret Instagram account and when fans eventually found it he gained over 1 million followers in a day, but when Ronaldo found out he made him immediately delete the account. Ronaldo's son is 12 years old now and still doesn’t have an iPhone. Ronaldo has made this choice because he wants his son to see the value of hard work, Ronaldo is tough on his son and makes him train hard. He gets upset when Cristiano Jr. drinks a lot of soda and eats potato chips instead of having healthy foods. Ronaldo recently explained that he is worried that giving Cristiano Jr. a cell phone will make it harder for his son to live up to his potential. He said he is worried about his son to be addicted to technology and that’s why he’s waiting to give him an iPhone. He believes not giving Cristiano Jr. a phone will also protect him from the negatives of fame and haters online.
