I want to talk about the importance of reactive dogs in public. First off, stop bringing your reactive dogs to non pet friendly places. 2nd off if your dog is reactive, respect other dogs and people and keep your distance… or at least use a tool or muzzle to keep others safe! my quick thinking kept us all safe, but it was a scary situation, this is why I don’t trust dogs I do not know! Always put your dogs first! ❤️🥺

My Queen Ants Formed a “Mean Girls” Club

I created a sorority of several queen yellow crazy ants (Anoplolepis gracilipes) and watched how they would react to living together in a group all raising their eggs together. The social structure of pleometrotic ants was staggering and I was shocked to see the queens form a 'Mean Girls' gang. The whole situation took me back to some traumatic times in high school.
