$0.24 Ride on the Mumbai Metro 🇮🇳

After flying in to Mumbai Airport, I needed to get to the city centre. Rather than pay for an expensive taxi or dangerous rickshaw, I used the modern, clean and cheap Mumbai Metro.

It was a good 10 minutes walk from the airport to the metro station, but as I only had one small backpack as luggage it was easily doable for yer man.

When we set out on our 2,100-mile drive from Arizona to Florida, we didn't plan on recording it. We were just (1) relocating to Florida to focus on completing the Bungalow and (2) getting back to warm weather to make travel videos in places you might want to visit in winter. In hindsight, we should have known that traveling thousands of miles always leads to situations that are entertaining, informative, or (hopefully) both. If you're new to KYD, the Bungalow in Florida will be our new home base, making the KYD Cabin even more available for the community to stay in while visiting the southwest. In order to camp in our own backyard (and run the AC, which is essential in Florida almost any time of year), we needed to install a 50 amp outlet. There is a right and a wrong way to do this, so we wanted to showcase this KYD PSA just in case you want to add shore power to your home one day.

Well, now that we've navigated the seas on a Trimaran, everyone's clamoring to know...which is the superior vessel, a Catamaran or Trimaran?  And that's just one of the countless queries, including the curious case of how a pooch does her business while aboard a boat.

Reasonable questions, all things considered. This was our maiden voyage as caretakers of another couple's vessel and our first time manning the helm of a NEEL 47 trimaran. Add in a four-legged friend and it was a feast of fresh experiences.

So, we figured we should provide some insight into your most burning questions about life on three hulls.

WE’RE JASON AND NIKKI WYNN.  A couple of modern-day documentarians, perpetual travelers, and seekers of tall tales.  

We’ve been chasing our curiosity around the world on wheels and keels since 2011. Why?  Because curiosity is the key to unlocking life.  It pushes us outside our comfort zone, softens our assumptions, and helps us embrace the great unknown.  The more we let our curiosity lead the way, the more we discover about ourselves and the world around us.

Our home is also our transportation and we spend weeks away from civilization and sometimes land.  Self-reliance and living a sustainable lifestyle are a must.  It's all about managing our resources and we’re always looking for new and better ways to do so.  

We've lived off the grid for over 10 years now in everything from a Van to RV to a Sailboat. And over time we have learned a lot about renewable energy, creating safe drinking water, and managing our waste.

Our journey is ever-evolving but the mission remains the same: #CultivateCuriosity
